About Cathy

Cathy Garcia, President of Cha-Cha Chic, has always been guided by her natural sense of style of fun, fashion and flair.

She traces the roots of her creativity to her late Nana Nacha who always told her “Mija, Enjoy!” Another strong influence is Mother Delia whose own zest for life was evident when she was on the dance floor the night Cathy decided to make her debut in the world.

With her background in retail fashion, fragrances, cosmetics and decorating, Cathy’s creativity extends to all parts of her life. Planning and hosting posh parties is Cathy’s forte.

Throughout her life, Cathy filled her sketch pad with ideas for clothing and accessories she dreams of creating and designing one day. That day has finally arrived as she launches her Latin inspired Cha-Cha Chic clothing line with A Lot of Heart and a Lot of Heat.

Cathy’s first designs are woman’s tees with brilliant color combinations and just enough bling. Her favorite tee features her own Chihuahua, Cha-Cha, the company’s four-legged namesake.

Cha-Cha Chic tees are perfect for dressing up for the club or lounging by the pool. No matter where they are worn, they will be noticed!
